Seaside & Slope Sun Protection

Rain or shine, ski hill or beach, you need UV protection for your eyes. While an epic powder day might have you forgetting all about those sunglasses, the sun’s rays reflected off snow can be especially fierce.

Cloudy days don’t offer much protection either. Even if the weather is stalling your sunbathing, UV rays still make it through cloud cover.

The sun’s rays can do plenty of damage. Between 5% and 10% of skin cancer is eyelid skin cancer. Conjunctival cancers and ocular melanoma can also occur as a result of too much sun exposure. And excessive UV exposure increases your risk of cataracts.

It’s always best to wear your sunglasses whenever you’re outside. On a boat or on the slopes, safety first! Let our friendly team help you pick the perfect pair.
