In the event we are unavailable, seek immediate medical attention at your nearest emergency department.

Signs & Symptoms of an Eye Emergency

Experiencing any of the following symptoms could indicate an ocular emergency: 

  • Vision loss
  • Pupils of mismatched size
  • Eye pain
  • Bulging eyes
  • Bleeding from eye area
  • Burning
  • Stinging
  • One eye not moving like the other
  • Discharge from the eye
  • Double vision

  • Foreign object stuck in eye
  • Burn
  • Chemical contact
  • Cut or scratch
  • Trauma to the eye area
